THE ACTOR AS “SITE-SPECIFIC”


This workshop is based on experience gained during the seven months of preparations for the original theatre project PERSONAL HISTORY.

 

Objective and focus of workshop
In this workshop, the actors are „site-specific“. It is based on their personal stories. Joint creative dialogue based on a predetermined synopsis is used to develop the acting ability of each individual, in particular 4 aspects: movement, narrative, dramatic and musical.

 

Workshop leader: director Petra Tejnorová and other who participate on preparations for the project (e.g. actors, choreographer )

Practical information for participants

Before the event, participants will receive the acting study assignments to be presented at the workshop.

Those wishing to attend the workshop must have at least basic experience of movement theatre.

The workshop is open to participants free of charge thanks to "Active V4 Ciziten Workshops" programme granted by International Visigrad fund and by Europe for Citizens programme of DG Education and Culture.
